Zee5 original film Bamfaad – Don’t miss out the big screen experience on your mobile

Directed by Ranjan Chandel, Bamfaad movie marks as the debut of popular actor and politician Paresh Rawal’s son Aditya Rawal along with Shalini Pandey, Vijay Varma, Sana Amin Sheikh, Jatin Sarna among others.

Anurag Kashyap is known for his signature style love stories shot in criminal backdrop with an unconventional hero. Anurag and Ranjan together have given us Mukkabaaz and Raman Raghav 2.0, and now Bamfaad.

While the story is familiar, it is the raw energy of a young small town boy that gives this romance a twist. The movie begins with Nasir Jamal (played by Aditya Rawal), the cunning son of a politician who is always angry. Easily gets in brawls, he is known to do anything for people who love him. He bullies his professors and helps his friends cheat in exams. While he is playing around, believing that he owns the town – things change when he meets Jigar Fareedi (Vijay Varma). Jigar is another powerful politician who rules the city. Nasir falls in love with Neelam, and Jigar claims to own her. Both turn rival over the girl, Nasir and Neelam run through the jungle of guns, bloodshed and much more to be with each other.

The cast is perfect for their assigned roles and they have done a brilliant job in terms of the delivery. For the age old love story, it is the acting that sprinkled magic in Bamfaad and makes it worth watching. Aditya Rawal seems sincere in his role as a rebel and lover, Shalini is immensely convincing as the sweet girl, Vijay as the antagonist is brilliant and Jatin is highly believable when he keeps switching sides as per his convenience. It is highly recommended that you do not dismiss the talent on the name of nepotism. Watch it for yourself and decide.
